Welcome to our website.

We are a community team providing football for boys and girls in the Martlesham area in Suffolk. All of our teams, from U7 (Under 7) to U16 play in the South Suffolk Youth League.

Martlesham was home to the RAF for many years and Martlesham Heath is built on the site of the old aerodrome. MYFC are proud of this tradition and the names of our teams reflect this.

From the menu on the left you can find out more about the club, including our code of conduct, forthcoming events, details of our teams (12 in total, ranging in age from 5 and 6-year olds through to 18 years), how to find our pitches and of course contact details.

Help For Heroes

Martlesham Youth are grateful to the Army for letting our U15 Hurricanes use their all-weather training facilities at Rock Barracks, Woodbridge, last season. The Hurricanes have players whose parents are serving soldiers.

As a thank you the club made a donation to Help For Heroes supplemented by several teams raising extra cash from parents and visiting supporters in March.

Summer Tournament 2011

Our annual summer tournament was another great success and enjoyable day for all on Saturday 4th June at Suffolk Police HQ in Martlesham.
We enjoyed a sunny day and saw over fifty teams and hundreds of players enjoy a great day of football.

French Exchange Trip

This Easter saw the return visit of our 'sister' club from France, ESL (Entente Sportive du Layon). The weekend was a great success, with our French guests enjoying the great weather and the trip to Orford and the slot machines at Felixstowe. Competitive football matches played in an excellent spirit with Martlesham winning both inter club matches at U10 and U11/12 level on the Sunday.

A big thank you to Steve Smith for all his hard work organising the weekend and to all the committee and helpers who made the weekend possible.The weekend was enjoyed by all and we look forward to renewing acqiuantances next year.
