Through coaching, guidance and advice it is hoped our young players will realise their full potential and develop a good understanding of the game.

The desire of the coaches and parents in this team is that the players under our guidance will develop a sense of personal values which will provide them with far greater self esteem. The coaches are determined to develop team play and good sportsmanship.

The club recognises that football is very much a community activity; with this in mind we try to achieve the highest standard of behaviour and respect.

There is a great atmosphere amongst our squad and the attitude of the players is second to none.

Team History

Some of the players in this team have been playing together since the age of 6. The team has already shown signs of real promise, in our first competitive season participating in the Felixstowe and District League, both the A and B team finished fifth.

Our B team progressed to semi final of the ‘friendly’ cup competitive and our A team won the 2008 Martlesham Youth Under 8’s summer tournament.

This year Martlesham Eagles have been placed in Division 2 of the South Suffolk Youth League.
