Team Overview
This team was created for the 2007/08 season and has enjoyed some great spells so far.
In our first season our ‘A’ Team finished mid table and our ‘B’ Team won their league.
The last season 2008/09 saw the merging of the two groups of players to represent the club at 11 a-side.
It was an awesome season which saw the players flourish and work really well as a team.
They enjoyed their games and exceeded their own expectations by winning the league (division 2) and
deservedly received promotion to now play in the first division for the forthcoming season.
The team owes its success to focusing on the players working as a team whilst ensuring their game
is played fairly whilst competitively. We expect all players to practice the principles of respect and
to ensure they represent the club well at all times.
Our forthcoming season promises to be very challenging and one that we are all looking forward to.
We shall continue to enjoy the game and will hope to improve as individuals from management to players and
on the whole as a team as the season unfolds.
